What is an "open door policy"?

Answer: 

I believe that people not in the legal profession can become intimidated by the language and "mystery" of the law, in very much the same way I feel when I visit the doctor and retain about half of what I am told while in the office. I want to encourage my clients to call me with those "little" questions and not have to be concerned with the cost of such question. Accordingly, I do not charge anything for any phone call less than ten minutes (unless the calls are sequential!).
